THE GIFT film has a new selection, this time in the official competition of the XXI International Ecological Film Festival TO SAVE AND PRESERVE. The film is produced by ALTERNATIVE CINEMA (Moldova), co-produced by ROVA FILM (Romania) and directed by Dumitru Grosei. The script was written by Marian Crișan and Dumitru Grosei.
The festival is located in Russian Federation and is taking place between 3 – 8 June, 2018. It is dedicated to films which are focused on the problems of ecology, preservations of cultural and historical heritage. The most important TV companies and independent authors are participating in this festival, from countries like Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Sri Lanka, Canada, Japan, Ecuador, Portugal, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Czech Republic, USA, Germany and 50 other countries.
Aims and tasks of this festival is to increase the professional level of journalists, operators, directors who produce films, television programs and information video materials on the ecological theme, to search new creative methods in highlighting the ecological theme on TV, to attract public’s attention to preserve the natural, cultural and historical heritage.
The festival’s program is full of business and cultural events. For participants and guests, there are organized open screenings of films, masterclasses, round-table discussions, TV/film projects presenations and meetings with famous producers.
A kid gets a pair of binoculars as a Christmas gift, but what he wants more is to go hunting with his father.
Every child has, at one moment, a coming of age experience. This short film observes one of these moments. Victor, the kid in the film THE GIFT, goes hunting with his father for the first time. He will confront the brutal and grotesque reality of this ritual in a sunny winter day.
